Shalag has been engaged in the production and marketing of nonwovens since 1984, with a focus on the hygienic and wipes markets.
Due to the limited scope of the local market, emphasis was placed on export, leading to adoption of the most modern manufacturing technologies, together with use of fibers of the finest quality.
At present, Shalag's production site (12,000 sqm), encompassing 3 production lines using carded thermobonded technology, enjoys an annual capacity of approximately 12,000 tons.
Shalag manufactures a wide range of products, weighing from less than 10 to more than 100 gsm,
composed of more than 40 different fiber types,
